Troubleshooting the Livebox configuration
Installation Errors Errors which you may experience while installing using the Wireless and Talk Setup CD-ROM


Following is information on the error messages which you might experience when running the installation.

Remember, sometimes it is best to not pay too much attention to these, and use the information elsewhere in this guide which has tips on what to do for different problems ("From the Livebox to the Internet").


Choose a subject:

500: Can't connect using wireless connection
WLAN Configuration icon is YELLOW or "Not Connected"
501: Fixed IP Address
502: Network adapter has not been assigned an IP address 503: Can't find the Livebox
504: Enter the Configure Livebox user name and password 505: The connection has been lost while the installation is running
506: No / Very Poor Broadband signal (Unable to Synchronise) 507: User name and password incorrect
508: Internal Error 509: Wireless adapter not found
WLAN Configuration icon is RED
581: Already connected (Internet or Livebox connection found) 582: Too many connections
583: Components not installed correctly 584: Hardware Error
590: User name and password incorrect Hi-speed device plugged into non-hi-speed port
Stuck on Configuring PC 401: Unauthorised
Network Bridge Detected "Check Your Settings" page on accessing the Internet
"Livebox Firmware Updating" page on accessing the Internet 910: Problem with installation (SpeedTouch 121g)
920: "Still" a problem with installation (SpeedTouch 121g)
