Troubleshooting the Livebox configuration
This Guide

The Livebox is Wanadoo's wireless router, supplied with their Wireless and Talk package. It allows connecting two (or more) computers to the Internet simultaneously, as well as use of the Talk service, which gives reduced price telephone calls through the Broadband connection.

This page is a guide to troubleshooting Livebox problems, and consists of two main sections -

1) describing what you should check, starting at the PC and moving outwards towards the Internet

2) listing error codes which occur when installing.

The details here show how to resolve various common problems with the Livebox connection, and also a few things to check if you are having difficulties with the Talk service too.

Most problems can be resolved by checking the Wireless Network Manager or the Configure Livebox page (sometimes Configure Wanadoo Home), so you don't have to uninstall and reinstall all of the time, and keep restarting the PC. This should work once the installation has finished copying files.

Tip: If you don't have the Configure Livebox icon for one reason or another, then you can easily go to this by going into Internet Explorer and typing the Livebox IP address (192.168.1.1) in the address bar. Remember, user name "admin" and password "admin" for the restricted access section if you need this.

some aspects may not function correctly in other browsers (though it does work a little better in Mozilla Firefox now..).
